Provenance and terms

The heat, flood, and drought layers are research outputs of the Nicosia climate study. Vector cells were reprojected from EPSG:32636 (UTM 36N) to EPSG:4326 for the web; the flood and drought rasters are offered here as their source GeoTIFFs, while the map renders lighter PNG overlays of the same study extent.

The Limassol flood delivery follows the same approach: four source GeoTIFF indicators in EPSG:32636 are converted into web overlays without changing their standardized values. Scores are relative, not absolute measurements. Basemap and local-climate-zone tiles retain their upstream licences.

The Limassol drought package contains five downloadable source GeoTIFFs on a 10 m grid: NDMI, NDVI, vegetation mask, full-area water stress, and water-stressed vegetation. The map uses four lighter PNG overlays generated from those source rasters for responsive web display.
